Position
Güterwagenprüfer (m/w/d) – Wagenmeister
Location & Schedule
• Location: Calbe
• Start: Immediate
• Full‑time (40 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure safe operation of freight wagons by maintaining an operational and roadworthy condition.
• Perform general inspection of wagons and brake systems.
• Investigate and resolve irregularities detected during inspections.
• Prepare trains and carry out shunting support tasks in close coordination with scheduling.
• Work in shift and rotating schedule with appropriate shift allowances.
Required Qualifications
• Completed training as Wagenmeister (m/w/d) level 3 according to VDV‑Schrift 758 or higher.
• Professional experience in wagon technical service.
• Full medical and psychological fitness for railway operations.
• Proficiency in German (spoken and written) according to TfV.
• Valid driving licence (category B).
• Enjoyment of outdoor work.
